Our big band is based in the «Big Apple» Zuchwil in the beautiful canton of Solothurn and has been playing classical and contemporary big band swing throughout Switzerland and nearby countries since 1974. The Ambassador Big Band conducts its own Lindy Hop events and has regular appearances with the organizer The Swing Machine . During the 60 minutes before the band starts playing a crash course is taught by professional Lindy Hoppers, a format that has stood the test of time at weddings and other events because a crash course gets your party jumping in the literal sense. It's completely informal, so that even clumsy dancers have a ball!
